Nikita Neo Mokgware is a trained filmmaker who holds an Honours degree majoring in Acting, Screenwriting and Theatre Movement from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. In 2018 she applied for and was accepted into the Multichoice Talent Factory. There, she conceptualized what would be one of two films chosen to be funded by Zambezi Magic and shown on their channel: The Painting. Since then, she has gone on to start her own scriptwriting and film administration company, N&M Productions, based in Gaborone, Botswana. In the colorful tapestry of Bone Choene’s journey, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community upliftment are seamlessly interwoven. With an innate fondness for storytelling, Bone Choene embarked on a journey that led him to become an award-winning director at 20 years old winning best video at the 2013 Botswana Presidential Awards. His cinematic creations, marked by their breathtaking visuals and profound narratives, have not only garnered accolades but have also established a profound connection with audiences spanning continents. From Botswana to South Africa, the USA to the UK, Switzerland and even Ireland, his footprint in the creative landscape is evident. Bone is not content with just artistic expression; he recognizes the power of creativity as a catalyst for change which led to him constructing his self-funded film production studio in his community.
