Synopsis

LOGLINE

A woman’s “perfect relationship” begins to unravel when the girl she used to be appears outside a coffee shop window — infested, desperate, and finally loud enough to wake her up.

“The hardest person to wake up is the one who doesn’t know she’s asleep”

DE-BUGGED
A well-dressed woman sits across from her charming boyfriend at a trendy coffee shop — smiling, seemingly at peace. But just outside the window, a young lady in pajamas and a bonnet is screaming, pounding, desperate to be seen. She is not a stranger. She is who she used to be.
As the boyfriend’s subtle manipulations slowly surface, the pounding grows louder. The woman outside grows more desperate — bug-infested, unraveling, and impossible to ignore. When she can’t ignore the cries any longer, she makes a choice — not just to walk away from the table, but to walk back to herself
DE-BUGGED is a visceral short film about emotional manipulation, self-abandonment, and the moment a woman finally wakes up.
