Tariro graduated with a Diploma in Journalism and Communication from CCOSA College. She has worked as a journalist at H-Metro and was the winner of Zimbabwe Model Awards Special Journalism Award in 2017 and 2018. Tariro’s articles are featured in National Gallery of Zimbabwe’s 60 years of media publication and she was Guest Speaker at Africa-International Youth Day 2019. In 2023 chosen by the US Embassy to be part of the International Writing Program facilitated by the University of IOWA. In 2025 her photography was shortlisted in the Black Women in Photography competition hosted in collaboration with Flickr and was also in the top 5 for the Eurofilm Festival Ultra shorts mobile competition. She continues to pursue creativity in its many different formats.
